Abstract: A method includes identifying a middlebox receiving network flow and communicating with one or more backend virtual machines. The method also includes receiving flow statistics corresponding to the network flow of the middlebox and determining whether the flow statistics satisfy an offload rule. The offload rule indicates when to migrate the network flow from the middlebox to an end host. When the flow statistics satisfy the offload rule, the method also includes migrating the network flow from the middlebox to the end host.

Abstract: A transceiver card for a personal computer includes a single circuit board that plugs into the personal computer and that is coupled to exchange data via an industry-standard bus in the personal computer. Radio frequency modulation circuitry on the circuit board receives the data and transmits radio frequency signals responsive thereto. Receiver circuitry receives radio frequency signals and converts the received signals to data for transfer via the bus. In an alternative configuration, the transceiver includes two circuit boards coupled to a USB bus within an external box. Data is exchanged with the computer through a USB port in the computer.

Abstract: An improved orchard or grove sprayer having a rigid tubular member arranged to receive the discharge from a blower, flexible upper and lower sleeves secured to the rigid member, and turning vanes secured in the rigid member to direct the majority of air discharged from the blower into the upper flexible sleeve. A clevis and pin located below the lower sleeve connect the sprayer to a trailer carrying a tank, and the flexible sleeve permits inserting and removing the pin while the blower is inoperative. A support post stabilizes the upper sleeve.
