  • Patent number: 10185206
Abstract: A lens barrel that is capable of miniaturizing and thinning an image pickup apparatus by enabling to switch manual lens drive and electric lens drive with a simple mechanism. A lens barrel is mounted on an image pickup apparatus that supports an operation member rotatably. A drive barrel engages with a lens holding member to drive it in an optical axis direction. A motor transfers rotation to the drive barrel through a transfer mechanism. A switching mechanism switches between electric lens drive that drives the lens holding member by transferring rotation of the motor to the drive barrel and manual lens drive that drives the lens holding member by transferring rotation of the operation member to the drive barrel via an elastic member that rotates together with the operation member according to a user's operation. The drive barrel engages with the elastic member while shifting to a photographing area.

  • Publication number: 20180278915
Abstract: An electronic apparatus that is capable of obtaining a correct base length even if at least one of photographing modules is attached to any slot different from an original slot at any timing. First and second photographing modules are respectively attached to any two of attachment regions of a body of the electronic apparatus. A photographing unit photographs in a compound eye mode using the photographing modules. An obtaining unit obtains two pieces of coordinate information about optical axes of the photographing modules from the photographing modules. A storage unit stores positional information about the attachment regions. A calculation unit calculates a base length by obtaining the coordinate information about the optical axes and the positional information about the attachment regions in a case where one of a state of the photographing modules and a state of the body of the electronic apparatus changes.

  • Publication number: 20180278829
Abstract: An electronic apparatus that achieves a function of a compound eye camera using a plurality of photographing modules and that improves AF accuracy even if environmental conditions vary or even if a state is changed by impact from outside. The electronic apparatus includes two photographing modules. A first obtaining unit performs contrast AF by one of the two photographing modules to obtain a first focus detection result. A second obtaining unit calculates an object distance from parallax information between the two photographing modules to obtain a second focus detection result. A correction unit corrects a calculation result of the object distance obtained by the second obtaining unit in a case where a state of at least one of the two photographing modules and a body of the electronic apparatus varies and where a difference between the first and second focus detection results is more than a threshold.

  • Patent number: 8774615
Abstract: A lens barrel which can be extended over a larger amount without increasing the length of the lens barrel in a collapsed state. A movable barrel having a cam formed on an inner periphery thereof is movable in an optical axis direction. The movable barrel is extended toward an object in a shooting state, and is housed in a collapsed state. A lens holding frame holds a first lens group disposed closest to an object side of lens groups arranged in the optical axis direction. The lens holding frame including a fitting portion for slidably fitting to the cam is capable of moving in the optical axis direction, following a profile line of the cam. Barrier blades are disposed on the object side of the first lens group. A barrier drive ring is connected to the lens holding frame is rotatable to open and close the barrier blades.

The lens barrel includes a rectilinear guide cylinder rectilinearly moving in an optical axis direction, and a movable cam cylinder moving in the optical axis direction while rotating relative to the guide cylinder. The guide cylinder is formed at its inner peripheral surface with a cam groove and a rectilinear guide groove that divides the cam groove at a boundary between a retracted region and a photographing region, and is formed with a penetration cam groove extending from the inner peripheral surface to an outer peripheral surface of the guide cylinder. The movable cam cylinder moves in the photographing region while the first pin engages the cam groove, and moves in the retracted region while the second pin engages the penetration cam groove.

  • Patent number: 7454129
Abstract: A collapsible-type lens barrel includes an image blurring correction unit that drives a first lens in a plane orthogonal to an optical axis so as to cancel shaking of an image sensing apparatus, and a second lens placed adjacent the image blurring correction unit. When the collapsible-type lens barrel is in the collapsed state, the image blurring correction unit causes the first lens to withdraw to a position away from the optical axis of the second lens, and causes the second lens to retract in such a manner that a portion of the second lens enters at least part of a space on the optical axis produced by the withdrawal of the first lens.
