Patent number: 11920674Abstract: In this shift device, in a case in which an external force has acted on a lever when an operating mechanism is causing the lever to pivot, a clutch mechanism permits rotation of a first detent plate with respect to a second detent plate, such that pivoting of the lever is permitted. Note that a restraining mechanism urges the lever toward a shift position. This enables to the restraining mechanism to urge the lever separately to the clutch mechanism, thereby enabling the degrees of freedom for setting a biasing load on the lever by the restraining mechanism to be increased.Type: GrantFiled: March 18, 2022Date of Patent: March 5, 2024Assignee: KABUSHIKI KAISHA TOKAI-RIKA-DENKI-SEISAKUSHOInventors: Tomonori Hayase, Koji Imai, Tomoaki Asai, Kota Nishida, Yohei Nakano, Yosuke Murakami, Munetoshi Makimura

Patent number: 8817190Abstract: A general moving image includes a plurality of objects in a frame image. At the time of playback, the temporal visual characteristic is taken into consideration uniformly in the overall frame image. It is therefore impossible to perform playback while particularly considering an object of interest. In this invention, when playing back a moving image including a plurality of time-divided frame images, the object adaptation time of each object image is acquired first in the frame image of interest of the plurality of frame images. An adaptation weight is calculated based on the acquired object adaptation time, and a low-pass image reflecting the adaptation weight is generated for each object image. Color adaptation conversion using the low-pass image makes it possible to perform, for the frame image of interest, color conversion based on the adaptation time of each object image and perform color conversion particularly considering an object of interest.Type: GrantFiled: November 25, 2008Date of Patent: August 26, 2014Assignee: Canon Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Mikiko Sugiyama, Yosuke Hayase

Patent number: 8488905Abstract: It is difficult to reproduce an input image more faithfully while enlarging a dynamic range and color gamut, in a reproduced image obtained by overlapping output images by a projector and printer. An image processing apparatus (102) transforms an input signal (101) into an RGB signal for a projector (103) and a CMY signal for a printer (104). In this case, the image processing apparatus (102) uses a transformation LUT, which is generated based on the spectral distribution characteristics of the projector (103) and the spectral reflectivity characteristics of the printer (104). By overlapping images formed by the projector (103) and printer (104) based on the transformed image signals, an input image can be reproduced more faithfully while enlarging the dynamic range and color gamut.Type: GrantFiled: October 15, 2009Date of Patent: July 16, 2013Assignee: Canon Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Yosuke Hayase

Patent number: 8116561Abstract: A color processing apparatus includes an input conversion unit configured to convert input data expressed in an input device-dependent color space into data expressed in a device-independent color space, a determination unit configured to determine an attribute of the input data and transmit a result of the determination to a color gamut mapping unit and an output conversion unit. The color gamut mapping unit is configured to perform color gamut mapping on data expressed in the device-independent color space to data corresponding to color gamut information of an output device based on a result of the determination. The output conversion unit is configured to convert the data which is subjected to the color gamut mapping into output data which is expressed in an output device-dependent color space based on a result of the determination.Type: GrantFiled: May 22, 2008Date of Patent: February 14, 2012Assignee: Canon Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Yosuke Hayase

Patent number: 7986448Abstract: An image processing method includes creating a conversion table for converting a color in a device-independent color space into a color in a device color space based on a colorimetry result of a color patch output by a device. Creating the conversion table includes converting a color in a three-dimensional color space dependent on a device into a color in a four-dimensional device color space including black. Converting a color in the three-dimensional color space includes separating an input color in the three-dimensional device-dependent color space into color components of the four-dimensional device color space based on a gradation from the input color to black, using a black generation curve of a gray line set by a user and black generation curves set for individual primary colors of RGBCMY, and performing saturation-increase conversion on the color components in accordance with an amount of a black colorant.Type: GrantFiled: October 26, 2007Date of Patent: July 26, 2011Assignee: Canon Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Yosuke Hayase
