  • Patent number: 12642709
Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing an absorbent core includes: a first drum that has a first area for sucking and stacking fibers on an outer peripheral portion of the first drum and stack a first core portion in the first area; and a second drum that has a plurality of second areas, smaller than the first area, for sucking and stacking the fibers on an outer peripheral portion of the second drum and that successively transfers second core portions stacked in each of the second areas to the first drum, wherein the second drum is rotated at a high first circumferential velocity when the second drum transfers each of the second core portions and, the second drum is rotated at a second circumferential velocity, lower than the first circumferential velocity, in non-transfer time, which is after the transfer and until subsequent transfer.

  • Publication number: 20240409356
Abstract: Provided is a sheet folding device which can reduce the pellet exchange frequency and an operation stop time accompanying a pallet exchange. The sheet folding device includes: (a) first movement unit disposed to be able to be raised/lowered above a placement region; (b) a second movement unit which is supported by the first movement unit and reciprocates along the placement region in a first direction; and (c) a sheet discharge device which is supported by the second movement unit and has a sheet discharge port facing the placement region, the sheet discharge port reciprocating along the placement region in a second direction crossing the first direction. Sheets continuous in the longitudinal direction are discharged from the sheet discharge port of the sheet discharge device so that the width direction of the sheets crosses the second direction.
