    Abstract: The present technology relates to an image processing device and an image processing method capable of obtaining tile images of an appropriate image size. An image processing unit sets an image size of tile images, which form a grid image and are stored in a high efficiency image file format (HEIF) file, according to a target image size or a target bit rate of the tile images, and generates the tile images of the image size. The present technology can be applied to, for example, a digital camera or the like that generates an HEIF file in which tile images are stored.

    Abstract: A cleaning process (blasted-particles cleaning process) includes performing, a plural number of consecutive cycles, an ultrasonic cleaning treatment including immersing a turbine rotor blade in a water basin and conducting an ultrasonic wave into the water basin to clean the turbine rotor blade, and a pressurized-water cleaning treatment including spraying pressurized water into an internal cooling flow channel after the ultrasonic cleaning treatment is performed. The cleaning process is performed after a bonding coat layer removing process of removing a bonding coat layer (first coating layer) by chemical treatment, and a cleaning process of cleaning the turbine blade by blast treatment. Heat tinging process is then performed.

    Abstract: A repair method for a gas turbine blade comprises: a step of removing a thermal barrier coating to expose at least part of a base material of the gas turbine blade; a first etching step of etching the exposed base material; a first identification step of identifying a base material deterioration layer that is harder than the base material from the etched base material; a first removal step of removing the identified base material deterioration layer if the base material deterioration layer is identified in the first identification step; and a step of applying a thermal barrier coating to the exposed base material after it is determined that there is no base material deterioration layer in the first identification step, or after the base material deterioration layer is removed in the first removal step.
