  • Patent number: 9881417
Abstract: A drawing apparatus is for drawing a three-dimensional model including a plurality of nodes present in a three-dimensional space, by using a plurality of viewpoints. The drawing apparatus includes a memory configured to store drawing information including a correspondence relationship between the plurality of nodes and the plurality of viewpoints, and drawing parameters relevant to the plurality of viewpoints; and a CPU configured to transform the three-dimensional model into an image, by a plurality of polygons constituting the three-dimensional model, by using the drawing information. The CPU changes the drawing information in response to a position or a state of a predetermined one or a plurality of the nodes satisfying a predetermined condition, and calculates drawing positions of vertices of the plurality of polygons, by using the viewpoints corresponding to the nodes to which the vertices belong, based on the changed drawing information.

  • Patent number: 7542033
Abstract: A method and computer program are provided for implementing a method for cartoonish picturization by generation from three-dimensional object data. The placement of the three-dimensional object, the view point, and the position of an illumination light source are set. The direction in which the three-dimensional object exists is obtained as mask information, the colors indicating the object are obtained as color information, the distance between the object outer surfaces and the view point is object as distance information, and normal vectors of the outer surfaces are obtained as normal vector information.

  • Patent number: 7116844
Abstract: The present invention relates to obtaining vector data for a hand-drawn curve having coordinate values input from a pointing device and a thickness and/or density in accordance with pen pressure values. In order to reduce the amount of data input from the pointing device and obtain vector data therefor in real time, the coordinate data and pen pressure data are extracted independently of each other so as to reduce the amount of data stored in a memory and used for plotting or display.
