  • Patent number: 11828451
Abstract: An illuminator apparatus can include: an optical source a collimator lens located on an optical axis of the optical source, for receiving emitted light from the optical source to emit collimated light; and a diffusion lens, located on an emitting surface side of the collimator lens, for receiving the collimated light to diffuse the collimated light. The diffusion lens can be provided with a diffusion section for diffusing central light of the collimated light emitted from a central portion of an emitting surface of the collimator lens and a non-diffusion section for transmitting peripheral light of the collimated light emitted from an outside of the central portion of the emitting surface of the collimator lens, without diffusing the peripheral light.

  • Patent number: 9435509
Abstract: A linear light source apparatus is provided, being configured to convert light emitted from one light emitting element to light extended linearly, and output thus converted light. There is a lens that diffuses light flux within a predetermined region including the optical axis of the light emitting element, out of the light incident from the light emitting element, at a predetermined diffusion angle in the second direction (x-direction). The light is made to converge with respect to the first direction (y-direction). This converts the light from one light emitting element to light extended linearly and outputs the converted light. As for the second direction (x-direction), it is possible to make the light flux sparse in the predetermined region, and in the region outside thereof, the light flux is rendered to be dense.

  • Patent number: 8007138
Abstract: A lighting device can be configured to prevent light beams emitted from a light source from passing through an outer peripheral surface of a lens and from being projected outside of the illumination direction of the lighting device. In the lighting device, the light source can be disposed within a lighting chamber defined by a substrate and the lens. The lens can have a lens cut portion on the rear surface thereof. A reflection surface can be formed in the outer peripheral surface of the lens. The substrate can also have a reflecting portion configured to project light beams reflected by the outer peripheral surface of the lens in the illumination direction. The reflecting portion can be disposed on the front side of the substrate.
