  • Patent number: 11914075
Abstract: A distance measurement apparatus includes: a laser light source configured to emit emitted light to be applied to an object to be measured; a laser light source control circuit configured to control the laser light source; a MEMS mirror configured to two-dimensionally scan the object with the emitted light; a reflecting member configured to cover a part of a scan region, and reflect the emitted light; and a light detector configured to receive reflected light from the object to be measured and reflected light from the reflecting member, and output a received light signal. The laser light source control circuit sets, to a threshold value, an amount of the emitted light obtained when output of the light detector is saturated, and controls an amount of the emitted light such that the amount of the emitted light is less than the threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20220146639
Abstract: A distance measuring apparatus to measure a distance to an object includes: a plurality of light sources to emit a first light and a second light; a mirror; and a light receiving unit. When the mirror rotates about the first and third axes, an angle formed by an optical axis of the second light projected on the first plane and the second axis is larger than an angle formed by an optical axis of the first light projected on the first plane and the second axis, and an angle formed by the optical axis of the second light projected on the second plane and the second axis is larger than an angle formed by the optical axis of the first light projected on the second plane and the second axis.

  • Patent number: 10935662
Abstract: To provide a laser distance measuring apparatus that can set the irradiation range of the laser beam to the front ground surface appropriately regardless of the inclination of the front ground surface. A laser distance measuring apparatus controls the scanning mechanism to performs two-dimensional scan which scan laser beam in an irradiation angle range of the right and left direction to the traveling direction of own vehicle and scans laser beam in an irradiation angle range of the up and down direction with respect to the traveling direction of own vehicle; detects a relative inclination information of the up and down direction of a ground surface in front of own vehicle with respect to a ground surface where own vehicle is located; and moves the irradiation angle range of the up and down direction to up side or down side according to the relative inclination information.

  • Publication number: 20200124729
Abstract: To provide a laser distance measuring apparatus which can realize appropriate measurable distance according to the object distance and the moving speed of the moving body, and quick response of distance detection, without complicating the equipment configuration. A laser distance measuring apparatus is provided with a light receiving unit that receives a reflected light of a laser beam reflected by an object, and outputs a light receiving signal; and a distance calculation unit that calculates an object distance which is a distance to the object, based on the emitted laser beam and the light receiving signal, wherein the distance calculation unit changes a light receiving sensitivity of the light receiving signal, based on a moving speed of the moving body and the object distance.
