    Abstract: A vehicle control apparatus includes at least one processor and at least one memory communicably coupled to the processor. The processor sets a target steering angle every predetermined cycle, on the basis of a curvature radius of a first arc passing through a current position of a vehicle, and controls a steering angle on the basis of the target steering angle. The processor sets the target steering angle by obtaining a second arc passing through the current position and tangent to a traveling direction of the vehicle, on the basis of a sum of minimum distances to the first arc from respective target points on a target path. The processor sets the target steering angle in a second cycle following a first cycle, before the vehicle reaches a position corresponding to the farthest one of the target points used for setting of the target steering angle in the first cycle.

The driving motors each output driving torque for the vehicle and output regenerative torque. The processors predict an output increased state ahead in a direction of travel of the vehicle. The output increased state causes output torque of any of the driving motors to be larger than a rated output. On the condition that the output increased state is predicted, the processors limit the driving torque and the regenerative torque of a relevant one of the driving motors expected to produce an output larger than the rated output in the output increased state, to under the rated output, until the output increased state occurs.

    Abstract: A front-rear wheel driving force distribution device includes a center differential and a limited slip differential. The limited slip differential includes a first clutch, a second clutch, a first piston, a second piston, and a one-way clutch provided between the first clutch and a rear propeller shaft. If the second clutch is engaged by the second piston, the propeller shaft on the rear side rotates at increased speed as compared with a case where the first clutch is engaged by the first piston. The one-way clutch couples the first clutch and the rear propeller shaft if a number of rotations of the first clutch is same as or higher than a number of rotations of the rear propeller shaft, and idles if the number of rotations of the first clutch is lower than the number of rotations of the rear propeller shaft.
