    Abstract: To provide an information processing method, information processing apparatus, and information processing system which are capable of achieving a high-quality content listening or viewing experience. An information processing method according to an embodiment of the present technology is executed by a computer, and includes calculating, on a basis of a beacon signal which is transmitted from a reproduction apparatus capable of reproducing a content, a distance from the computer to the reproduction apparatus. On a basis of the calculated distance, a transfer reproduction operation by the reproduction apparatus is controlled, in which a content that is being reproduced by a different reproduction apparatus is transferred and reproduced.
