Abstract: A display device and a terminal having the same are disclosed. The terminal includes a base including a circuit board provided therein, and upper and lower housings, a support configured with one side combined with at least a portion of the lower housing and the other side having a head part configured for combination with a main body of a display, a first hole located on the upper housing and configured for combination with the support, and a second hole located on the circuit board and configured for combination with the support. The display device and the terminal having the same increase combining force between the support and the base and may use the same support and base in main bodies having various sizes, thus simplifying a manufacturing process and reducing part and assembly costs.

Abstract: A display apparatus which enables a display to rotate with a tilting angle across a large range is provided. This allows a user to, conveniently use the display apparatus in order to enable quality of use to be improved during a tilting operation, and slim and elegant appearance to be implemented. The display apparatus includes a display configured to display an image on the front surface, a stand supporting the display, and a hinge device connecting the display to the stand such that the display may be tilted, wherein the hinge device includes a guide member formed on a rear surface of the display, a latch fixed to the stand and to slide along the guide member when the display is tilted, and a fixing member fixing the display not to move when an external force applied to the display is removed.

Abstract: A method of forming a number of air vent holes in a rear case of a liquid crystal flat plate display (LCD) monitor and an apparatus therefor. The method includes forming a number of air vent holes on an incline plane of the rear case using a first metal mold and a second metal mold, such that pin holes are formed in the first metal mold and protrusion pins are installed in the second mold so as to be respectively inserted into the pin holes, to form respective air vent holes. The molding is performed in a state that the protrusion pins are inserted into the respective pin holes during injection of a solution which forms the rear case.

Abstract: A flat-panel display apparatus including a display unit having a screen; a stand unit supporting the display uni; a hinge unit connected between the display unit and the stand unit, to enable forward and backward tilting and leftward and rightward swivelling of the display unit. A pair of tilt stoppers are formed in the hinge unit to prevent excessive tilting of the display unit either forwardly or rearwardly. A pair of supplemental stoppers is formed at external sides of the hinge member to reinforce the tilt stoppers to prevent the excessive tilting of the display unit.
