  • Patent number: 11181978
Abstract: A method for gaze estimation. The method includes processing training data and determining one or more local-learning base gaze estimation model based on the training data. The local-learning base gaze estimation model(s) can be used for determining one or both of: 2D gaze points in a scene image and 3D gaze points in scene camera coordinates.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 17, 2019
Date of Patent: November 23, 2021
    Assignee: hemy8 SA
    Inventors: Youfu Li, Dan Su
  • Patent number: 10915535
Abstract: Systems and methods for optimizing query execution to improve query processing by a computer are provided. A query is analyzed and translated into a logical plan. A runtime query optimizer is applied to the logical plan to identify a physical plan including operators for execution. The logical plan is translated into the physical plan. Execution of the query is scheduled according to the physical plan.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 18, 2018
Date of Patent: February 9, 2021
Inventors: Haifeng Chen, Youfu Li, Daeki Cho, Bo Zong, Nipun Arora, Cristian Lumezanu

  • Patent number: 9250510
Abstract: The disclosed subject matter relates to providing panoramic stereo vision captured with a single camera scheme employing a catadioptric optical path. In an aspect the presently disclosed subject matter can capture a stereo image over a full 360-degree horizontal field of view or portions thereof. Further, the vertical FOV is enlarged compared to conventional cata-fisheye schemes. A system according to the instant subject matter can be calibrated with a computational model that can accommodate a non-single viewpoint imaging model to conduct 3D reconstruction in Euclidean space.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 15, 2012
Date of Patent: February 2, 2016

  • Patent number: 8009930
Abstract: A method for self-recalibration of a structured light vision system including a camera and a projector. A camera plane and a projector plane are defined, a Homography matrix between the camera plane and the projector plane is computed, and a translation vector and a rotation matrix are determined from Homography-based constraints. A computer vision system implementing the method is also described.
