  • Patent number: 8378598
Abstract: In a polyphase electric motor, a voltage is sequentially applied to a plurality of windings on a phase-by-phase basis. Then, there is sensed a rotational speed of a rotor, which is rotated by a rotating magnetic field that is generated by sequentially flowing an electric current in the windings on the phase-by-phase basis upon the sequential application of the voltage to the windings. Then, an oscillation frequency of a periodic oscillation, which is generated in the motor at the sensed rotational speed of the rotor, is obtained. Thereafter, it is determined whether the obtained oscillation frequency is a predetermined resonance frequency. Next, the voltage to be applied to the windings is corrected in a manner that reduces a resonance generated in the motor when a result of the determination indicates that the obtained oscillation frequency is the predetermined resonance frequency.

  • Publication number: 20110048145
Abstract: A dissolution testing apparatus comprises a vessel plate on which a plurality of test vessels are mounted. Each test vessel has a heat generation portion, which includes a transparent ring-shaped heat generating sheet member wrapped around the cylindrical portion of the vessel so that the heat generation portion is held thereon in a freely detachable manner. Additionally, the heat generating portion includes a transparent pressing sheet member. The dissolution testing apparatus has a heat control block, which includes a system control unit, a dc power supply and displays. The heat generation portion, if defective, can be easily replaced without the need to replace the main body of the vessel, thereby providing cost savings. Further, by providing an unobstructed observation window between an upper side region and a lower side region of the heat generating sheet member, progress of the dissolution of a pharmaceutical preparation inside the container main body can be observed easily from the outside.

  • Patent number: 5736065
Abstract: A chemical reducing solution obtained by using an alkali boron hydride as a reductant and adding thereto a water-soluble, polyoxyethylene chain-containing organic compound having a molecular weight of 200 or above molecule as an additive has merits in that it can reduce copper oxide to metallic copper while maintaining the needle-like form of copper oxide as completely as possible and the reduction can be completed in a short period of time by a simple procedure, so that the chemical reducing solution is successfully usable in a process for producing a multi-layer printed circuit board.

  • Patent number: 5734923
Abstract: An information output apparatus which outputs guide information in combination with image, text, voice and sign-language so that hearing impaired, handicapped people can easily recognize the guide information. The sign-language is automatically generated by computer graphics on the basis of text information inputted to the apparatus. A user can edit the generated sign-language. When it is desired to perform a generating operation over additional sign-language information, a transitional picture is automatically inserted between the sign-language words to provide clear discrimination between the words. The inserting manner can be specified by the user.
