  • Patent number: 5259858
Abstract: Satisfactory molding of a spout in the upper inclined opening edge of a glass container is effected by heating the spout molded portion of the upper opening edge to soften it, premolding the heated softened portion by raising it from the inside of the glass container by the premolding member of a spout premolding device, and finish-molding it by a spout molding device. The spout molding device supports the molding device above a glass container setting position for vertical and horizontal movements, and outwardly substantially horizontally moves this molding member, which is put in the glass container, so as to outwardly push and deform the upper opening edge of the glass container in such a manner as to mold a spout. The path of movement of the molding member is controlled by a fixed cam to finish the spout into a desired shape.

  • Patent number: 5258694
Abstract: A control device for an ultrasonic motor for controlling to drive the ultrasonic motor according to a logical AND operation between a control pulse having a duty ratio changing from 100% to 0% according to a moving position of the ultrasonic motor and a driving signal having a resonance frequency of the ultrasonic motor. Accordingly, after starting the ultrasonic motor at a maximum speed, a moving speed of the ultrasonic motor can be gradually reduced until it reaches a target position, and when reaching the target position, the ultrasonic motor can be stopped precisely at the target position.

  • Patent number: 5181714
Abstract: A document feeding device for feeding documents to a document scanning section where the image of the document is scanned. The document feeding device has first trasnport rollers for feeding each document to the scanning section, discharge rollers for discharging from the scanning section the document thus supplied, a reversing transport path for passing and turning over the document sent from the discharge rollers, and second transport rollers for feeding the document that has been turned over through the reversing transport path to the document reading section. The reversing transport path is designed to change the length of the document transport path depending on the size of the document. With the arrangement, reversing operation and scanning operation of the documents can be performed effectively.

  • Patent number: 5025474
Abstract: A speaker system has an acoustic diaphragm and an image projection screen provided on a surface of the diaphragm integrally therewith so as to enable the user to enjoy both realistic image on the screen and powerful sound reproduced through the diaphragm. The rear surface of the diaphragm is closed at a peripheral portion thereof while the central portion of the rear surface of the diaphragm is opened to the exterior, so that the speaker system can provide a high level of reproduced sound pressure in low-pitched region, while the thickness of the speaker is reduced remarkably. The diaphgram can be driven by a plurality of driving units so that the speaker system can operate only with an ordinary stereophonic amplifier.

  • Patent number: 4823908
Abstract: A parametric loudspeaker utilizes nonlinearity of air relative to ultrasonic waves for producing an audio frequency having super directivity, and to thus provide a limited listening area public address system subject to a large listening area by safeguarding listeners by the provision of a framework for intercepting powerful ultrasonic waves and an acoustic filter. The depth and energy consumption of the parametric loudspeaker are reduced by the use of a reflective plate. Arbitrary directivity is obtained by the provision of a mechanism to move an ultrasonic wave radiator or the reflective plate. The parametric loudspeaker and any other loudspeaker may be combined.
