  • Patent number: 11242069
Abstract: Grip sensor includes base material, sensor wire formed on base material, and sensor circuit electrically connected to an end of sensor wire. Sensor wire includes first wire portion on a side of sensor end, and a second wire portion on a side of power source end. In a state where base material is attached on a rim, second wire portion is disposed at an outer peripheral surface of the rim that is a site opposing a knee or thigh of a driver operating a steering wheel, and first wire portion is disposed at a front side and a rear side of the rim.

  • Publication number: 20180222326
Abstract: A vehicular power source device includes a first generator that generates electric power by rotating a rotor, a second generator that rotates at a higher rotation speed than an upper limit of a rotation speed of the first generator to generate electric power, a detector that detects the rotation speed of the first generator, and a controller that controls power generation of the first and second generators. The controller causes the first generator to generate electric power when the rotation speed of the first generator detected by the detector is not larger than the upper limit of the rotation speed of the first generator, and causes only the second generator to generate electric power when the rotation speed of the first generator detected by the detector is larger than the upper limit of the rotation speed of the first generator.

  • Publication number: 20130180324
Abstract: A tire state detection device capable of detecting a tire state with high accuracy. This tire state detection device (100) is a device for detecting the tire state of a pneumatic tire (200) affixed to a wheel and comprises a vibration input unit (110) for inputting predetermined vibration to the tire (200), a frequency information acquisition unit (120) for acquiring frequency information relating to the tire (200) when the predetermined vibration is inputted, and a tire state estimation unit (130) for extracting the resonance frequency and anti-resonance frequency of the tire (200) from the acquired frequency information and calculating, from the extracted resonance frequency and anti-resonance frequency of the tire (200), an outer moment of inertia and a spring constant when the tire (200) is modeled using the outer moment of inertia, an inner moment of inertia, and the spring constant of elastic force acting therebetween.

  • Publication number: 20110219864
Abstract: Disclosed is a tire condition detection apparatus capable of detecting the condition of a tire with a high degree of precision. The tire condition detection apparatus detects the tire condition of a pneumatic tire fixed to a wheel, and has a vibration input section that inputs predetermined vibration to the tire, a frequency information acquisition section that acquires frequency information of the tire when the predetermined vibration is input, and a tire condition estimation section that extracts a resonance frequency of the tire from the acquired frequency information, and calculates a spring constant when the tire is modeled using an outer moment of inertia, an inner moment of inertia, and a spring constant of elastic force acting therebetween, from the extracted tire resonance frequency.

  • Publication number: 20110068910
Abstract: A lighting device (100) for a vehicle, capable of more adequately draw the attention of a pedestrian to the fact that the vehicle is approaching the pedestrian. The lighting device (100) for a vehicle is provided with an object position detecting section (110) and a lighting control section (130). The object position detecting section (110) specifies an object which is present in the periphery of the vehicle and about which a warning is to be issued, and the object position detecting section detects a positional relationship between the object and the vehicle. The lighting control section (130) controls a headlight (120) so that illuminating light having a color corresponding to the positional relationship is applied to a region in which the object is present.

  • Publication number: 20100235040
Abstract: An illumination apparatus for vehicle capable of improving visibility of a driver with respect to an object of traffic environment of the periphery of a vehicle is provided. A vehicle periphery detection section 2 detects a pedestrian, a bicycle, an oncoming car, a forward running car, a sign, an indication and a traffic signal which are an object of traffic environment in the periphery of a vehicle. A vehicle operation detection section 3 acquires a speed of its own vehicle, a steering angle of steering and information about inclination (angular speed sensor) of the vehicle. An illumination section 4 irradiates the periphery of its own vehicle and the front of its own vehicle with light. A color estimation section 15 estimates a color of the object of the traffic environment detected by the vehicle periphery detection section 2. A light toning section 13 changes all or any of illuminance, luminance and color temperature K (kelvin) of the light according to the color of the object of traffic environment.
