Abstract: According to one aspect of the present disclosure, an applying unit that can be connected to a printer and apply an adhesive to a recording sheet includes: a roller configured to transport the recording sheet that is discharged from the printer; a sensor configured to detect the bend of the recording sheet; an applying portion configured to apply the adhesive to the recording sheet; and a control device configured to adjust the rotation speed of the roller according to the value detected by the sensor.
