A washer 1 includes: a supply-water storage section 28 configured to store supply water W2 to be used for washing and rinsing an object P to be washed accommodated in a washing chamber 3; a wastewater storage section configured to temporarily store wastewater W1 that has been used for washing and rinsing the object to be washed; and a wastewater heat recovery device 450 including a water supply channel 52 through which the supply water is supplied to the supply-water storage section and a drain channel 51 through which the wastewater is drained from the wastewater storage section 15, and configured to exchange heat between the wastewater flowing in the drain channel and the supply water flowing in the water supply channel.
