    Abstract: A pool cleaning robot and a control method therefor are disclosed. The pool cleaning robot includes a robot body, a buoyancy adjustment unit, and a first driving unit. The buoyancy adjustment unit and the first driving unit are arranged on the robot body or connected to the robot body. The buoyancy adjustment unit is provided to enable the pool cleaning robot to move back and forth between a water surface and a liquid-submerged surface. When the pool cleaning robot floats up to the water surface under the action of the buoyancy adjustment unit, the first driving unit is configured to drive the pool cleaning robot to move on the water surface. The pool cleaning robot of the present disclosure is provided with the buoyancy adjustment unit, which can increase or decrease the weight of the pool cleaning robot, such that the pool cleaning robot automatically floats up or dives down.
