Abstract: The method for evaluating the body temperature regulating function includes: acquiring an autonomic index of a target; acquiring a perspiration index of the target; and evaluating the body temperature regulating function of the target by using the autonomic index of the target and the perspiration index of the target. In one preferred embodiment, the autonomic index includes at least one of a heart rate variability index or a pulse rate variability index, and the perspiration index includes at least one of a skin conductance change or an amount of perspiration.

Abstract: A temperature load management device is for use in exposing a user to a second environment for removing a first temperature load accumulated in a first environment. The temperature load management device includes the control unit as a main component. The control unit controls the second environment or makes a notification of a time to end the exposing of the user to the second environment, based on physiological information on the user.

Abstract: A heat-stress effect estimating device estimates an effect of a heat stress imposed on a subject by an ambient temperature of the subject. The heat-stress effect estimating device includes a storage unit and a calculation unit. The storage unit stores a correlation of at least an ambient temperature of a person and an outdoor air temperature with at least one index indicating an effect of a heat stress on a person. The calculation unit estimates a state of the subject in terms of the at least one index, based on the correlation stored in the storage unit, an ambient temperature of the subject at a predetermined time point, and a history of an outdoor air temperature up to the predetermined time point.

Abstract: An air conditioner system (1) runs in a concentration keeping mode to sequentially repeat a first operation of lowering a target temperature to a first target temperature lower than a predetermined reference temperature and a second operation of raising the target temperature to a second target temperature higher than the reference temperature. The target temperature is gradually raised from the first target temperature to the second target temperature in the second operation. Lowering the target temperature to the first target temperature in the first operation takes shorter time than raising the target temperature to the second target temperature in the second operation.
