    Abstract: Disclosed herein is an oral care composition that provides pleasant cooling sensation and easy delivery of an oral care active ingredient. The tablet-type oral care composition of the present invention is prepared by compressing porous plastic granules at a pressure of 500 kg/cm2 or less and undergoes in situ melting and gelling by saliva or water in the buccal cavity, or by chewing. Upon direct administration of the composition to the buccal cavity, the composition undergoes melting and gelling by water or saliva, or by chewing action, and works to maintain oral health via gargling or mouth washing. Therefore, the formulation of the present invention advantageously reduces inconvenience of conventional liquid or ointment-like oral care products and also provides easy portability.

    Abstract: A method of coating phosphor powder with a composite oxide, and a light emitting device that employs the phosphor powder coated with the composite oxide are disclosed. The method includes mixing a silicon oxide precursor and a precursor of another oxide in water and alcohol to form a primary coating layer on a sulfide phosphor through a sol-gel reaction, heat treating the primary coating layer to form a composite oxide layer of the silicon oxide and the other oxide from the primary coating layer. The method improves moisture stability of the sulfide phosphor compared to a sulfide phosphor coated with a single silicon oxide film.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a tooth whitener using glycerol monooleate. The tooth whitener is a composition that exhibits teeth whitening effects when being applied to teeth. Specifically, the tooth whitener comprises a glycerol monooleate, a polyol, a polymer, a peroxide and a hydrophilic solvent, and has a W/O emulsion phase. The tooth whitener is flowable before being applied to teeth and is spreadable when being applied to teeth. In addition, the tooth whitener is solidified by the action of moisture, such as saliva, after being applied to teeth, and can thus be adhered and fixed to the teeth. Further-more, changes in viscosity of the tooth whitener with varying temperature can he minimized and the release rate of the whitening ingredient can he controlled by the addition of polyol.

A gate metal material is on the transparent conductive material where the TFT partially overlaps the pixel electrode. The LCD panel includes a thin film transistor (TFT) array substrate with a gate and data lines crossing each other to define a pixel area, a TFT at the crossings of the gate and data lines, a protective film, and a pixel electrode connected to the TFT and formed within a pixel opening that is arranged at the pixel area and formed through the protective film and a gate insulating film. A color filter array substrate is joined to the TFT array substrate. A pattern spacer is between the TFT and color filter array substrate and overlaps at least one of the gate line, the data line, and the thin film transistor. A rib is formed from the same layer as the pattern spacer and overlaps the pixel electrode. Liquid crystal material is provided within the LCD panel.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a dry type tooth-whitening patch comprising peroxide as a tooth whitening agent. In particular, disclosed is a dry type tooth-whitening patch in which peroxide is contained, as a teeth whitening agent, in a matrix type adhesive layer. The adhesive layer includes, as a base polymer thereof, a hydrophilic glass polymer, which provides a strong adhesion to teeth while releasing the tooth whitening agent when hydrated on the enamel layers of teeth in the moist oral cavity. The dry type patch according to the present invention is convenient in use, as compared to wet type patches. Further, it exhibits a superior adhesion while being maintained in a state attached to the teeth for a lengthened period of time so as to assure an enough contact time between the whitening agent in the patch and stains on the teeth, thereby giving a sufficient whitening effect.
