Abstract: A ratchet tool includes a barrel rotatably engaged into a cartridge and having a gear, two pawls slidably received in the cartridge and each having a base plane and a side plane and two or more teeth biased to engage with the gear of the barrel, and a control ferrule may control the engagement of the pawls with the gear of the barrel. The teeth of the pawls each includes two tooth surfaces having different included angles relative to the base plane of the pawl and relative to the side plane of the pawl, and having different included angles relative to each other, for allowing the barrel to be suitably rotated or driven by the cartridge with an increased driving torque.

Abstract: A tool device includes a handle and a driving shank having one end engaged into the handle and rotatably attached and coupled to the handle with a pivot shaft for allowing the driving shank to be rotated relative to the handle from a straight position in line with the handle to a position perpendicular to the handle to form a T-shaped driving tool device. The driving shank includes a number of depressions and the handle includes a spring biased detent member for engaging with either of the depressions of the driving shank and for anchoring the driving shank to the handle at selected angular positions. An actuating member is slidably received in the handle for actuating the detent member to engage with the driving shank.

The rotary member includes an actuator or a peripheral groove for selectively engaging with the extensions of the holders, and for selectively rotating the holders relative to the handle member to an outwardly opening and working position, by rotating the rotary member relative to the handle member.

A shorter handle member is detachably attached to the longer handle member, and a ratchet tool mechanism is detachably coupled to the shorter handle member for being driven by the shorter handle member. A magnetic securing device may secure the handle members together. A tool holder may be received in the longer handle member for receiving tool members.
