  • Patent number: 6728116
Abstract: Disclosed is an electromagnetic circuit wherein coils are wound in a forward (clockwise) direction and in a reverse (counterclockwise) direction and semiconductor switches are mounted in front of the respective coils so that a non-induction line becomes a polarity-converting point of an alternating magnetic flux by controlling currents. Accordingly, a mechanical dynamic power of a high torque can be obtained by electrical energy.

  • Patent number: 6717313
Abstract: An energy conversion magnetic circuit is constituted with magnet pole pieces of magnets or armatures which are in parallel with respect to the shaft to obtain a dynamic force or an electromotive force. The magnetic circuit for a generator or an electric motor has a rotating shaft, a plurality of supporters fixedly mounted in a perpendicular direction to the circumference of the rotating shaft, a plurality of rotors arranged in parallel with respect to the shaft on each end of the plurality of supporters to be rotated by attraction force and repulsion force of a magnetic field, and a plurality of armatures having a coil wound on the body thereof. The coil is mounted at an interval outside the rotors and receives induced alternate magnetic flux of the rotors to generate a rectangular wave electromotive force or to obtain a high torque with input of electrical energy.

  • Patent number: 6359358
Abstract: Magnetic circuits in rotation systems for generating electric and mechanical power such as machines in electric cars and ships. This rotation system is composed of three parts. One is a revolving field magnet (22) fixed at the axis (21). The second part is armatures with M type of magnetic circuits for generating the mechanical power. The third part is armatures with inverse Y type of eletromagnets for generating the electric power that generates the electromotive force by receiving the induced magnetic flux from the revolving field magnet (22) and the armatures for generating the mechanical power. The M type magnetic circuits and the inverse Y type of electromagnets are separated by air gaps. With this, we have an efficient motor/generator since it can reduce the external power consumption since a part of the mechanical power is recycled by a switched electrical damping effect.
