  • Patent number: 7546119
Abstract: A system and method for changing an operation parameter of a communication terminal are provided, in which necessary software is transmitted using an SMS/SIP message so that a WLAN phone, such as a WiFi phone, can maintain an optimum operation condition. The system for automatically changing an operation parameter of a communication terminal includes: a user DB storing upgrade information of an operation parameter of the communication terminal; and an upgrade server determining whether the operation parameter needs to be upgraded with reference to the user DB, and providing new operation parameter information to the communication terminal when the operation parameter needs to be upgraded.

  • Patent number: 7424313
Abstract: A public land mobile network (PLMN)/private wireless network-integrated service network and a system for the service network. The service network according to the present invention can interwork with any PLMN with no dependence on an upper system. In the present invention, there is no need for a public BSC and a separate private BSC. The novel BSC handles both public and private data and voice calls placed from or placed to a mobile station or terminal. The novel BSC enables a wireless phone or terminal to place and receive calls using either the public communications network or the private communications network. Thus, the need for a redundant private BSC is eliminated while providing the diversity of services to mobile stations.

  • Patent number: 7336971
Abstract: A system for providing a private mobile communication service separately from a public mobile communication network and method of processing a call using the same. The system includes a mobile station for establishing a radio communication channel with a private BTS (pBTS) when it moves from a public-only cell to a public/private common cell; and establishes a traffic channel with the pBTS if an identifier is added to a dialed number, and establishes a traffic channel with a public BTS if the identifier is not added. A private communication service apparatus determines, if a traffic channel request is received from the mobile station, whether the mobile station is a subscriber to the private mobile communication service, establishing a radio communication channel if the mobile station is a subscriber, and establishing a traffic channel over a private network and a public switched telephone network.

  • Patent number: 7308257
Abstract: A private mobile communication system is for providing a public network busy state information of a mobile communication terminal. The private mobile communication system for informing a call origination mobile communication terminal of a public network busy state of a mobile communication terminal registered in a mobile communication system includes an HLR (Home Location Register) having a parameter indicating a public network busy state with respect to each mobile communication terminal registered in a private mobile communication system, and a message routing module for setting up a public network busy state of the mobile communication terminal in the case where the mobile communication terminal performs a call origination or a call reception over a public mobile communication network within a private mobile communication network.
