  • Patent number: 11214558
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a novel method for synthesizing DHPV, and more particularly, to a novel method for synthesizing DHPV (5-(3?,4?-dihydroxyphenyl)-?-valerolactone)) which is a major metabolite of cacao. This method has the advantage of not only facilitating a large-scale synthesis by a new synthesis method that can overcome existing defects, but also making it easy to select antioxidants and isomers exhibiting anti-aging bioactivities. Therefore, it is effective in enabling mass production of DHPV having high value as a functional material for cosmetics and pharmaceuticals in a simple and economical manner.

  • Patent number: 9353144
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a novel vascular leakage inhibitor. The novel vascular leakage inhibitor of the present invention inhibits the apoptosis of vascular endothelial cells, inhibits the formation of actin stress fibers induced by VEGF, and enhances the cortical actin ring structure, thereby inhibiting vascular leakage. Accordingly, the vascular leakage inhibitor of the present invention can prevent or treat various diseases caused by vascular leakage. Since the vascular leakage inhibitor of the present invention is synthesized from commercially available or easily synthesizable pregnenolones, it has remarkably superior feasibility of commercial synthesis.

  • Publication number: 20150183797
Abstract: The present invention relates to a compound inhibiting Hsp90 and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the same as an active ingredient. The compounds represented by formula 1 and formula 2 of the present invention suppress the expression of Hsp90 so that they can inhibit the accumulation of HIF-1?, the Hsp90 client protein, and also efficiently inhibit the activation of VEGF. In addition, these compounds display low cytotoxicity, so that they can be effectively used as an active ingredient of an anti-cancer agent, a diabetic retinopathy treating agent, and an anti-arthritic agent.

  • Patent number: 8889840
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a novel vascular leakage inhibitor. The novel vascular leakage inhibitor of the present disclosure inhibits the apoptosis of vascular endothelial cells, inhibits the formation of actin stress fibers induced by VEGF, enhances the cortical actin ring structure, and improves the stability of the tight junctions (TJs) between vascular cells, thereby inhibiting vascular leakage. The vascular leakage inhibitor of the present disclosure has the activity of not only reducing vascular permeability but also recovering the integrity of damaged blood vessels. Accordingly, the vascular leakage inhibitor of the present disclosure can prevent or treat various diseases caused by vascular leakage. Since the vascular leakage inhibitor of the present disclosure is synthesized from commercially available or easily synthesizable cholesterols, it has remarkably superior feasibility of commercial synthesis.
