  • Patent number: 5578964
Abstract: A CMOS differential operational amplifier has a fully differential structure to improve the output swing and a cascode amplification structure to improve the operating speed. This amplifier includes: a differential input stage 21 which receives differential input voltage signals and converts the input voltage signals into current signals; a cascode output stage 22 which amplifies the current signals from the differential input stage 21 and converts them into high gain output voltage signals; and a common-mode feedback circuit(CMF) 23 which makes a common-mode voltage signal of the output voltage signals equal to a reference voltage signal. To the output ports of the cascode output stage 22, a load capacitor (C.sub.L) 24 is connected.

  • Patent number: 5553515
Abstract: A device attached to a crank arm of, for example, a bicycle, which increases the effective crank length through the power phase of the crank arm stroke using rotary motion. The maximum effective crank length is provided proximate the 12 o'clock position and it is reduced to a minimum proximate the 6 o'clock position to maximize power output from a rider or other operator. The device includes an axle eccentrically mounted on a crank arm, the axle defining an axis of rotation which is offset from the distal end of the crank arm and which preferably lies along or within a range with respect to the longitudinal axis of the crank arm. A housing is rotatably attached to the axle with the housing encompassing the axle and rotating about the axis defined by the axle.

  • Patent number: 5513155
Abstract: A laser disk player performs a pause operation using a frequency generation (FG) pulse, frame address data read out from a disk and a vertical sync signal. A memory stores the frame address data read out at the time when a pause key signal is inputted. A microprocessor controls the pickup to jump back one track to the previous track and compares the currently read-out frame address data with the frame address data stored in the memory, to check the operation state of the frequency generator. If it is judged that the frequency generator for generating the FG pulse is operating abnormally, the microprocessor receives a vertical sync signal and controls the one-track jump operation of the pickup until the frame address data at a time of the pause is larger than or is equal to the frame address data read out via the one-track jumped pickup. Thus, the laser disk player performs a pause function reliably even if the frequency generator for generating the FG pulse operates abnormally.
