  • Publication number: 20110319038
Abstract: An apparatus and method for controlling a multi-band antenna in a mobile communication terminal are provided. An apparatus for controlling a multi-band antenna in a mobile communication terminal includes a modem, an antenna unit, a Radio Frequency (RF) processing unit, and a switch module. The modem outputs at least one control signal corresponding to a target frequency band. The antenna unit changes a resonance frequency of the antenna according to the at least one control signal. The RF processing unit includes a plurality of transmission/reception (TX/RX) paths and processes TX/RX signals. The switch module connects the antenna to one of the TX/RX paths according to the at least one control signal.

  • Patent number: 7741955
Abstract: Method for rapidly detecting identifier (ID) of tags, by radio frequency identification (RFID) reader in communication system that includes RFID reader and at least two tags communicating with RFID reader, is provided. RFID reader generates a prefix when IDs contained in at least two messages received collide with each other, prefix including a first colliding bit, which is set to ‘0’ or ‘1’, from high-order bits and non-colliding high-order bits. RFID reader sends a first message containing information that requests transmission of an assigned ID in a preset transmission period when the bits of the generated prefix match bits corresponding to the prefix, in the assigned ID. Tags receive a first message that contains a prefix including at least one bit, and sends a second message containing an assigned ID during a preset transmission period when the bits of the prefix match bits corresponding to the prefix, in assigned ID.

  • Publication number: 20090061319
Abstract: Disclosed are a silicon thin film anode for a lithium secondary battery having enhanced cycle characteristics and capacity and a preparation method thereof. A preparation method for a silicon thin film anode for a lithium secondary battery, comprises: preparing a collector including a metal; forming an anode active material layer including a silicon on the collector; forming one or more interface stabilizing layer, by annealing the collector and the anode active material layer under one of an inert atmosphere, a reduced atmosphere, and a vacuum atmosphere to react a metallic component of at least one of the collector and the anode active material layer with a silicon component of the anode active material layer at an interface therebetween; and forming a carbon coating layer on the anode active material layer by performing an annealing process in a hydrocarbon atmosphere.

  • Patent number: 7399486
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for preparing a mixed formulation of sustained release microspheres with various compositions by a continuous one-step process. The present method is characterized by preparing the mixed formulation of sustained release microspheres with different compositions by a continuous one-step process by continuously introducing the mixed fluids into a dryer from the two or more different fluids for preparation of sustained release microspheres containing a biodegradable polymer, a drug, an additive and a solvent with different types of contents or both of the components, by controlling the mixing ratios of the fluids according to the time, unlike a conventional method including spray-drying a mixture of microspheres containing a biodegradable polymer, a drug, an additive and a solvent with a single composition.

  • Publication number: 20060273881
Abstract: An anti-collision method is provided for a radio frequency identification (RFID) system including a reader, and two or more tags each having an ID. The anti-collision method includes transmitting an ID request value from the reader to the respective tags, the ID request value containing one or more of the codes forming the ID, receiving the ID from at least one of the tags which contain the ID request value, when a plurality of IDs collide, requesting the tags for a value representing a position of collision, and receiving the value representing the position of collision from the tags and identifying the IDs of the tags. Because collision pattern of the bits of respective IDs is recognized, and a plurality of IDs are recognized, the number of transmissions between the reader and the tags can be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20050175693
Abstract: The present invention relates to a sustained release formulation comprising protein as an active ingredient, and a preparation method thereof. According to the present invention, the sustained release formulation contains protein drugs that are encapsulated in biodegradable hydrophobic matrices as pharmaceutically active forms by forming complexes with sulfated polysaccharides. The sustained release formulation prepared by the present invention can be used to effectively treat a disease without frequent injections by keeping the protein concentration at a sufficiently high level for a long period when injected in vivo once.
