    Abstract: A bus bar assembly and current measuring device configured to reduce measurement errors through linearity compensation and temperature compensation for the difference in values of two or more measured currents, thereby achieving high-accuracy current measurement, is presented. The present invention discloses a bus bar assembly including: a first conductive plate and a second conductive plate each composed of a plurality of parts; and an insulator formed between the first conductive plate and the second conductive plate, wherein a common first terminal hole is formed at one end of the first conductive plate, one end of the second conductive plate, and one end of the insulator, a common second terminal hole is formed at respective opposite ends of the first conductive plate, the second conductive plate, and the insulator. According to the present invention, stable and highly reliable current measurement is possible through multiple shunt resistors based on a redundancy design.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a battery monitoring method, which is performed by a battery monitoring device, including: measuring a first voltage drop across both ends of a first shunt resistor of a bus bar electrically connected to a battery and a second voltage drop across both ends of a second shunt resistor, which is in parallel or serial connection with the first shunt resistor; calculating a first current and a second current flowing, respectively, through the first shunt resistor and the second shunt resistor using a first voltage drop value and a second voltage drop value; and determining a state of the battery using a difference between a first current value and a second current value. According to the present invention, it is possible to increase the reliability of monitoring information related to the battery's state by utilizing current values that have undergone linearity compensation and temperature compensation.

    Abstract: A method for the preparation of water-soluble chitosan with high purity and biological activity includes steps of: reacting chitosan oligo sugar acid salt, covalently bonded to an organic or inorganic acid, with trialkylamine in phosphate buffered saline followed by addition of an organic solvent to remove acid salt at C-2 position; adding the thus obtained reaction mixture to an inorganic acid to remove trialkylamine salt at C-6 position; and passing the thus obtained free amine chitosan through an activated carbon/ion exchange resin. The free amine chitosan is water-soluble and has a high bioavailability for application to the medicine and food industries.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a counterflow type filter trap system for filtering particulate matters from engine exhaust gases. A controller for receiving and sending information signals, is included. A metal fiber filter for capturing particulate matters included in the engine exhaust gases is provided. A back pressure sensor for sensing pressure difference between the inlet and the outlet of the metal fiber filter, is formed. A compressed air supplying portion is formed for injecting a compressed air in the opposite direction to the flow of the exhaust gases to separate the captured particulate matters from the metal fiber filter. A particulate matters collecting box for collecting the separated particulate matters and a guiding valve for guiding the separated particulate matters are provided. The life of the filter is lengthened and the apparatus has a simple structure. The filtering efficiency of the exhausted fumes is very high.

    Abstract: This invention relates to a scavenging shroud mechanism for improving scavenging of a 2-stroke engine, and more particularly to a scavenging shroud mechanism for improving scavenging of a 2-stroke engine which is constructed such that a scavenging shroud mechanism is provided to a scavenging valve whereby compressed air sucked into an interior of a combustion chamber makes a tumble phenomenon along with cylinder wall surface and thereby pushes out already burned burnt gas and simultaneously is capable of efficiently feeding new air so that efficient reverse loop scavenging system is made. The scavenging shroud mechanism has a baffle 2, shroud guide notch 3 and a shroud neck 4, and a fixed supporting pin 6 and a supporting guide 5 provided on the inner side of the intake manifold 9. A shroud guide notch 3 is provided in the baffle 2 so as to permit the scavenging shroud mechanism 1 to up and down-ward movement but not right and left rotational movement.
