  • Patent number: 11713849
Abstract: A method monitors a pressure tank system of a stationary vehicle. The method detects a wake-up situation by use of sensor data of a main sensor of the vehicle. Furthermore, in reaction to the detection of a wake-up situation, the method activates a further resource for detecting and/or for evaluating sensor data with regard to the pressure tank system. Moreover, the method determines, by use of the further resource, whether one or more protective measures are to be carried out in relation to the pressure tank system and/or the surroundings thereof.

  • Publication number: 20230002714
Abstract: Disclosed are a biomimic system simulating lung tissue, a method for manufacturing same, and a microfluidic control method using same, wherein the biomimic system comprises lung epithelial cells and lung fibroblasts, which are isolated from human lungs, and commercially available vascular endothelial cells, and wherein a microfluid flows through the biomimic system. Each chamber inside the corresponding system can allow a fluid, which contains gas and a medium, to flow therethrough and simulate respiration-like movement, wherein all of the three types of cells can survive inside the system even when one week or more have elapsed after through-flow of the fluid. In addition, the pH and pO2 in the chamber can be monitored by using a pH sensor and a gas partial pressure sensor inside the system, and thus the three types of cells inside the system can be exposed to external environments, drugs, and the like under the same conditions as in the lungs in vivo.

  • Publication number: 20220322803
Abstract: A hair perm forming method using electrolyzed water multiple times or for a predetermined period of time or more was revealed to have effects that cause very little damage to the hair to enable repeated treatments, enable perming of damaged hair and blonde hair compared with existing methods, show oxidative power higher than that of hydrogen peroxide, cause less hair damage, suppress dandruff bacteria, and significantly decrease the elution of dyes after perming. Therefore, the hair perm forming method can be advantageously used to effectively form a perm without harm to the human body. In addition, the washing of dyed and permed hair, dyed hair, and bleached hair with electrolyzed water, compared with washing with distilled water, has advantages in that the tensile strength of hair is maintained and the dye loss from the dyed hair is less.

  • Patent number: 10003626
Abstract: The present invention relates to an adaptive real-time transcoding method and a streaming server therefor to improve service quality by minimizing the disconnection of images in an environment, such as a mobile device, through adaptively changing a set value of a transcoding operation on a media streaming service to match a network environment. The adaptive real-time transcoding method of the present invention is a real-time transcoding method for sequentially transmitting a media data segment, divided and transcoded, in a streaming server to the client side over a network, the method comprising the steps of: determining the fill level of a client-side playback buffer; determining, on the basis of the fill level of the playback buffer, the image quality of media data segments that are not transmitted to the client side; and transcoding the non-transmitted media data segments according to the determined image quality.

  • Patent number: 9439065
Abstract: A method for associating an identification stored in a mobile terminal with a location, particularly a seat, includes receiving a piece of information indicating a first time at which a previously unoccupied location is occupied by a person, the occupancy of the location being acquired by a sensor associated with the location. A piece of information indicating a second time at which the movement of the mobile terminal is received which implies that, if the mobile terminal were carried along by a person, the person carrying the terminal would occupy a location, the movement being acquired by a sensor in the mobile terminal. A relationship is determined between the first time and the second time. Therefore, the identification is received and associated with the determined location.
