Abstract: Disclosed is color conversion method using a color look-up table. The method includes the steps of: generating a color look-up table using information on the difference of each channel before and after a conversion of each color; and converting the colors using the generated color look-up table. The step of generating the color look-up table includes identifying the maximum difference value among several difference values and generating a first compressed table to initially compress the difference values using the maximum difference value.

Abstract: Disclosed is a color conversion method, the method including the steps of (a) converting a color using an approximation technique, and (b) correcting an error of the color using a preset error correction table containing information regarding a difference between a color channel based on an original conversion formula and a color channel based on the approximation technique.

Abstract: A method of realizing images in a portable display apparatus including a camera module and an LCD monitor includes the steps of: converting three primary lights, which are realized by the camera module, into a first tri-stimulus value; converting the first tri-stimulus value into a second tri-stimulus value through a color gamut mapping of the first tri-stimulus value for the LCD monitor; and converting the second tri-stimulus value into three primary lights for images the LCD monitor is configured to display and then transferring the three converted-to primary lights to the LCD monitor.

Abstract: A method for compensating an image produced by image means for implementing image information takes account of ambient illumination. Luminance of external background illumination around the image means is measured. The measured luminance of the background illumination is compared with preset tristimulus values and a reflectance factor of the image means, a comparison result is computed, and a control signal is generated to compensate luminance and chroma of an image. Luminance and chroma of the image means are compensated in response to the control signal.

Abstract: A disc loading device for loading discs of different sizes. The disc loading device includes a lower plate for receiving discs of different sizes, a guide section movably installed on the lower plate for guiding the discs, a positioning section movably installed at the lower plate for determining the position where the discs are received, and a returning section for returning the positioning section back to the initial position when the discs are withdrawn from the disc recording/reproducing device. The guide section includes a pair of contacting members for contacting the discs, a slide bar movably and rotatably installed with the contacting members, and a slide spring for elastically connecting the contacting members.
