  • Publication number: 20070057880
Abstract: The present invention relates to an organic electroluminescent device and driving method thereof. The method of driving an electroluminescent device having a plurality of pixels formed on emitting areas crossed by data lines and scan lines comprises detecting a gray scale of a data current according to a display data inputted from outside, and discharging the data lines to a discharging level corresponding to the display data according to the detected gray scale. The organic electroluminescent device and driving method thereof according to the present invention can emit the pixels as desired brightness independently of a gray scale by making the discharging circuit regulate the discharge level according to the gray scale.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a rotary resonance type motor. The rotary resonance type motor comprises a swing rotor swung by electromagnetic force caused by interaction with a stator, and a resonant mechanism resonating with the swing rotor so as to allow the swing rotor to be swung, and a circulation rotor rotating in one direction by electromagnetic force caused by interaction with the stator, thereby generating unidirectional rotational force and swing force at the same time. The rotary resonance type motor has a cooling fan coupled to the circulation rotor, so that heat of the rotary resonance type motor can be sufficiently dissipated by blowing force of the cooling fan, thereby enhancing durability and stability.

  • Publication number: 20060149490
Abstract: A calibration circuit for a semiconductor device and a method of driving the same. The calibration circuit includes a PRBS generator in which a data pattern is generated within an integrated circuit without receiving data from the outside, a PRBS tester that compares output signals of a data latch that strobes and latches an output signal of a data input buffer to determine whether the interlock operation of data and strobe is pass or fail, and a calibration unit that calibrates a delay time using the output signal of the PRBS tester as much as a predetermined unit. Thus, variation in process, voltage, temperature, etc. can be freely calibrated even after package assembly. Accordingly, it is possible to guarantee a set-up/hold value that is necessary for high frequency operation of a system, and to reduce the time and resources necessary for product manufacture and for calibrating these values.

  • Publication number: 20050231269
Abstract: The present invention discloses a circuit for controlling a timing of overdriving a core voltage (internal voltage) which is a driving voltage of a sense amplifier of a memory device and a duration of the overdriven core voltage, and a method for easily measuring the timing and duration. A device for controlling an operation of an internal voltage generator includes an internal voltage driver for outputting an internal voltage to an output terminal, an internal voltage over-driver for compensating for a potential level of the output terminal, and a controller for controlling an enable timing and a disable timing of the internal voltage over-driver. The controller receives a first control signal and outputs a second control signal, and the second control signal is generated after a predetermined time from reception of the first control signal, an operation of the internal voltage over-driver being controlled according to the second control signal.

  • Publication number: 20050091040
Abstract: Recently, with the wider use of cellular phones, more and more users listen to music via their cellular phones, and thus, the perceptual sound quality of music provided via the cellular phones became more critical. Since music signals are encoded by a voice encoding method optimized to human voice signals such as EVRC (Enhanced Variable Rate Coding) in a cellular communication system, the music signals are often distorted by such encoding method, and listeners experience pauses in music caused by such voice-optimized encoding method. To improve the perceptual sound quality of music, a method for preprocessing digital audio data is provided in order to prevent the problem of pause in music signals in a cellular phone. In particular, AGC (Automatic Gain Control) preprocessing and PHE (Pitch Harmonics Enhancement) is performed to the digital audio data having low dynamic range. By this method, the number of pauses in music signal is reduced, and the perceptual sound quality of the music is improved.
