    Abstract: Disclosed are a phase current control device for a DAB converter and a method therefor. The device includes a DAB converter having at least one leg including a switching element, a phase current measuring unit for measuring a phase current for each of the legs, and a phase current phase controller for performing phase control by setting one of the phase currents of the respective legs as a reference phase current, comparing each of the other phase currents with the reference phase current to derive a phase difference for each of the phase currents, and compensating each of the phase currents for a corresponding one of the phase differences.
