Abstract: In a wireless communication system, a terminal transmits capability information about power saving of the terminal to a base station, determines whether to apply a power saving interval based on resource allocation information received from the base station, determines a channel estimation method and a channel state information generation method based on the determining to apply the power saving interval, and provides, to the base station, channel state information obtained based on the determined channel estimation method and channel state information generation method.

Abstract: A method performed by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes determining a transmission frequency band of a reference signal based on at least one of an initial frequency band for an initial access procedure, a control resource set (CORESET) configured for the UE using a master information block (MIB), or a CORESET associated with a paging search space set for monitoring a paging message, wherein the reference signal is received by the UE in an IDLE state or an INACTIVE state, receiving, from a base station (BS), the reference signal based on the transmission frequency band of the reference signal, performing time synchronization and frequency synchronization with the BS based on the reference signal, and receiving, from the BS, the paging message including an identifier of the UE based on the time synchronization and frequency synchronization.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. Abstract: A display apparatus includes a display panel which includes a plurality of pixels, a backlight unit which includes a plurality of light sources sequentially arranged in a first direction of the display panel and provides light to the display panel, and a driving circuit which controls the display panel to allow an image to be displayed on the display panel and generates a plurality of backlight control signals to periodically turn on and off the light sources. The driving circuit generates the backlight control signals to allow the light sources to have different turn-on time periods based on positions of the light sources.
