  • Patent number: 10904445
Abstract: A zoom tracking method performed by a control unit of a zoom camera includes operations (a) through (c). In operation (a), the control unit determines a focusing progress state at a time when a zooming start signal is received. In operation (b), the control unit narrows an estimated range of a subject distance or estimates the subject distance, according to the focusing progress state. In operation (c), the control unit performs focusing for a zoom magnification according to the narrowed estimated range or the estimated subject distance.

  • Patent number: 8257269
Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for analyzing pulse using an array of pressure sensors comprising: an array of pressure sensors that measures the pulse data with a plurality of piezoresistive pressure sensors; a moving part that moves the array of pressure sensors; a controller that controls the moving part, so that the array of pressure sensors can be positioned at the pulse diagnosis site, and analyzes the pulse data measured by the array of pressure sensors; and a display that displays the pulse profile analyzed by the controller. Since both the applied pressure and the pulse pressure can be measured simultaneously using the piezoresistive pressure sensors, various pulse diagnosis techniques can be applied and since pulse length, pulse thickness, etc. can be displayed in four dimensions, softness or roughness of the pulse and other pulse information can be conveyed visually.

  • Patent number: 7970261
Abstract: An apparatus and method thereof determines a title of a recorded program. After a desired video content that is transmitted through a channel has been recorded upon user's request of timer recording, it is checked if more than one program is scheduled for broadcast on that channel during the preset timer recording interval based on broadcast program time information obtained from the channel. If it is determined that more than one programs is scheduled, the title of the recorded desired video content is determined on the basis of time length, data size, and/or minimum ratio.

  • Patent number: 7711243
Abstract: Embodiments of methods and apparatus for recording at least two broadcast programs that are consecutive in time can consecutively record the plurality of programs (e.g., consecutively) on a recording medium without a process of creating and recording navigation information between programs. Navigation information for the recorded section can be created and recorded on the recording medium after the consecutive recording of the plurality of programs is completed. Such navigation information can consider the consecutive broadcast programs as a single entity or a plurality of individual entities (e.g., for play back).
