  • Patent number: 7599440
Abstract: A downlink control channel structure in a CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) mobile communication system and its operating method are disclosed. Especially, a downlink control channel structure suitable for using a physical shared channel for a control channel, and a time-code allocating method using the same are disclosed. For this purpose, one shared channel is divided by both time and symbol level of orthogonal codes by using a unit channel.

  • Publication number: 20090232163
Abstract: A method for generating a subframe including resource distribution information is disclosed. The method for generating a subframe includes arranging resource allocation information in a subframe by sequentially allocating a localized permutation and a distributed permutation, and arranging a subframe control header including a resource unit index in a predetermined location by a system parameter, wherein the resource unit index indicates a frequency resource location of the resource allocation information. When both the localized permutation and the distributed permutation are used, a resource distribution method is transmitted to a user equipment. Therefore, an effect of the distributed permutation can be maximized without a great influence on the performance of the localized permutation, and a problem of decoding failure or latency can be prevented.

  • Publication number: 20090197599
Abstract: A method of transmitting/updating system informations is disclosed. The present invention includes transmitting channel descriptor transmission control information including an index of the system information classified into a plurality of groups to a terminal at a start timing point of an arbitrary control interval and transmitting the system information of a corresponding group to the terminal at a transmission timing point according to the index in the control interval. According to the above embodiments of the present invention, it is able to non-periodically perform scheduling on system informations classified by a base station. It is able to decrease an update time of system information as well as a time taken for network entry and initialization of terminals. And, it is able to obtain distributed effect of an initial ranging attempt in aspect of system.

  • Publication number: 20090052387
Abstract: A method of transmitting and receiving data using a superframe structure is disclosed. A method for transmitting data through a superframe including a superframe header, includes generating the superframe which includes a data region including user data and includes a dedicated control region including data region allocation information indicating resource allocation for the data region, and transmitting the superframe. The dedicated control region is arranged at least one of locations except for a subframe of the superframe header. A user equipment which does not have to transmit and receive data decodes only data region allocation information using information of the data region indicated by a dedicated control region, thereby minimizing power loss, reducing a feedback delay, and reducing system overhead using a superframe structure.

  • Publication number: 20090040999
Abstract: A method of transmitting control information in a wireless communication system includes configuring a burst including data symbols and a midamble and transmitting the burst through an uplink shared channel. The data symbols and the midamble carry the same control information. Even if control information is transmitted on an uplink shared channel, reception errors in a base station can be reduced by improving transmission reliability.

  • Publication number: 20050157808
Abstract: A closed-loop MIMO system includes a receiver for forming a new predefined set by using elements of a previous predefined set, selecting a certain matrix of the new predefined set, and feeding back an index of the matrix, if the number of transmit antennas increases, and a transmitter for performing signal transmission by multiplying the matrix of the fedback index to a transmission signal. Although the number of transmit antennas increases, candidate matrices can be simply obtained by using candidate matrices of a previous set. Moreover, by proposing a reference for selecting an optimal solution with a small amount of calculation, burden on a system can be considerably reduced.

  • Publication number: 20050157809
Abstract: An apparatus and method for decoding a MIMO system are disclosed. By employing an SIC(Successive Interference Cancellation)-based iterative decoding algorithm in the T-BLAST system or by applying the SIC-based iterative decoding algorithm in combination with PIC(Parallel Interference Cancellation) to the T-BLAST system, a high order of modulation method can be used or a high performance gain can be obtained in a transmission system having multiple antennas. Especially, by combining the SIC to the PIC, merits of the two schemes have a synergy effect of obtaining high bit error performance in various wireless environments.
