Abstract: Disclosed is a polarized light generating device based on an optical waveguide, which includes first to fourth input optical waveguides, respectively, for receiving input light from an outside, first to fifth optical splitters configured to receive at least one light and output the received at least one light as at least one light, and an optical converter configured to receive at least one light from the fifth optical splitter and convert the received light to generate polarized light. The polarized light generating device receives the input light through one of the first to fourth input optical waveguides, and generates a first polarized light, a second polarized light, a third polarized light, and a fourth polarized light. The first to fourth polarized lights belong to elements of two arbitrary two-dimensional mutually unbiased basis sets.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to humidity sensitive nano-photonics and a manufacturing method thereof, and more particularly to humidity sensitive nano-photonics including a metasurface and a method for manufacturing the same. The humidity sensitive nano-photonics and the manufacturing method thereof according to an embodiment of the present disclosure include a metasurface that are capable of expanding and contracting depending on changes in the relative humidity of the surrounding environment, and have the advantage of being easily manufactured, mass-produced at low cost, capable of effectively adjusting the phase and intensity of light, and applicable to various materials and various shapes of surfaces as well.

Abstract: An air conditioner for a vehicle including an air-conditioning case divided into a plurality of air passageways by a separation wall. A heating heat exchanger is disposed inside the air-conditioning case and exchanges heat with air to heat the interior of the vehicle. A perforated member is disposed at a downstream side of the heating heat exchanger and has a plurality of perforated holes through which the air passing the heating heat exchanger passes, and a partition wall is disposed between the heating heat exchanger and the perforated member to divide the air passageway of the air-conditioning case into a plurality of air passageways, wherein the partition wall is formed integrally with the perforated member.
