  • Patent number: 10261371
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a glass substrate comprises a surface processing step of performing surface processing for forming unevenness on a glass surface. In the surface processing step, protruded portions having a height of 1nm or more from an average line of a roughness curve are dispersedly formed on the glass surface. In the surface processing step, the surface processing is performed such that a protruded portion area ratio is 0.5 to 10%. The protruded portion area ratio is a ratio of an area of the protruded portions with respect to an area of any rectangular region. The rectangular region has a square shape with a side length of 1 ?m. In the surface processing step, in a case where the rectangular region is equally divided into at least one hundred divided regions having a square shape, the surface processing is performed such that a protruded portion content ratio is 80% or more.

  • Patent number: 9523017
Abstract: The present invention provides a mono coating film type waterborne coating composition comprising halogen free polyolefin resin, acryl polyol, acryl emulsion, and a solvent. According to the present invention, adhesion to a polyolefin substrate is excellent, and physical/chemical properties may be maintained with a single coating film instead of the currently used dual coating films, by a halogen free waterborne composition with physical/chemical properties similar to or more excellent than the existing oil coating or halogen-containing coating composition. Since these effects may be sufficiently obtained with a single coating film, consumption of coating may be reduced about 30˜40% compared to the existing method, and particularly, cost reduction may be expected through decrease in equipment required for dual coating film, energy for drying coating film, attractive force of coating, productivity increase, and the like.

  • Patent number: 9126858
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a glass substrate for a display includes a step of producing a glass substrate and a step of performing a surface treatment on one glass surface of major surfaces of the glass substrate to form surface unevenness. The surface treatment is performed such that protruded portions having a height of 1 nm or more from the surface roughness central plane of the surface unevenness are dispersedly provided on the glass surface after the surface treatment and the area ratio of the protruded portions with respect to the area of the glass surface is 0.5-10%. Using this glass substrate, semiconductor elements are formed on a major surface of the glass substrate opposite to the glass surface. Accordingly, a display panel is produced.

  • Patent number: 8597971
Abstract: A method for producing a photovoltaic device that includes spherical photovoltaic elements and a support with a large number of recesses for receiving the elements one by one and to the photovoltaic device. Each of the spherical photovoltaic elements includes a spherical first semiconductor and a second semiconductor layer covering the first semiconductor. A conductive adhesive is applied to the bottoms of the recesses of the support serving as a second conductor layer. The elements are disposed in the bottoms of the recesses with the conductive adhesive applied thereto, to fix the elements to the support and electrically connect their second semiconductor layers to the support. An electrical insulator layer, which has through-holes serving as conductive paths, is bonded to the backside of the support, and a first conductor layer, which interconnects the electrodes of the first semiconductors of the respective elements, is formed thereon.
