  • Patent number: 11837929
Abstract: A winding arrangement provided on a stator of an electric machine. The winding arrangement includes at least four windings. A first winding and a second winding occupied a first subset of slots; and a third winding and a fourth winding occupied a second subset of the slots. The first subset and the second subset of the plurality of slots are adjoined to each other. A span between two adjacent slots concerning the first winding, the second winding, the third winding, and the fourth winding is chosen from a full-pitch, a short-pitch, and a long-pitch to result in the winding arrangement where the first subsets in a first half of the slots is diagonal to the second subset in a second half of the slots, and the second subset in the first half of the slots is diagonal to the first subset in the second half of the slots.

  • Publication number: 20060088977
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of forming an element isolation film of a semiconductor device. An aluminum oxide film of a high wet etch rate is used as a pad oxide film, a trench is formed, and top and bottom edges of the trench is made rounded while removing some of the aluminum oxide film by a cleaning process. It is thus possible to make the top and bottom edges of the trench rounded without using polymer. It is also possible to minimize generation of a moat due to a step between a field region and an active region in a cleaning process before a gate oxide film is formed.

  • Publication number: 20050091709
Abstract: The present invention relates to an isolated DNA encoding fungal MRP (multidrug resistance associated protein) subfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter protein which confers organisms with resistance to and/or accumulation of toxic materials such as heavy metals and herbicides, vectors containing the isolated DNA, and organisms transformed with the isolated DNA. Organisms transformed with the fungal MRP subfamily of ABC transporters of the present invention can be used for remediation of environment polluted with toxic materials. For example, the transformed plants can be used for cleaning polluted soil or water, and thereby providing an environmentally-friendly way to remediate polluted resources with low cost.

  • Publication number: 20050020076
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for manufacturing MTJ cell of MRAM. In accordance with the method, a portion of a free magnetic layer by a hard mask layer pattern is subjected to a halo ion implant process. The state of the portion of the free magnetic layer subjected to the halo ion implant process is converted into an amorphous state. The portion of the free magnetic layer is then oxidized to form an oxide film. A patterning of MTJ cell is performed to form a MTJ cell, wherein polymers are not generated since the oxide film is etched instead of the free magnetic layer.

  • Patent number: 6841754
Abstract: A plasma arc torch that includes a torch body having a nozzle mounted relative to a composite electrode in the body to define a plasma chamber. The torch body includes a plasma flow path for directing a plasma gas to the plasma chamber in which a plasma arc is formed. The nozzle includes a hollow, body portion and a substantially solid, head portion defining an exit orifice. The composite electrode can be made of a metallic material (e.g., silver) with high thermal conductivity in the forward portion electrode body adjacent the emitting surface, and the aft portion of the electrode body is made of a second low cost, metallic material with good thermal and electrical conductivity. This composite electrode configuration produces an electrode with reduced electrode wear or pitting comparable to a silver electrode, for a price comparable to that of a copper electrode.
