  • Publication number: 20250252020
Abstract: When an unrecoverable error occurs in a storage device that receives a command from a host device, the storage device transmits a hint requesting transmission of a hardware reset signal to the host device, and the storage device performs a reset operation by receiving the hardware reset signal corresponding to the hint from the host device. Using a fast recovery operation, delay time due to occurrence of the error may be reduced, and the operational performance of the storage device may be improved.

  • Patent number: 12380889
Abstract: A system detects a period of non-voice activity and compares its duration to a cutoff period. The system adapts the cutoff period based on parsing previously-recognized speech of a user that is stored on a user's device or the system, which detects the voice activity, to determine according to a model, such as a machine-learned model, the probability that the speech recognized so far is a prefix to a longer complete utterance. The cutoff period is longer when a parse of previously recognized speech, which is based on the user profile, has a high probability of being a prefix of a longer utterance.

  • Patent number: 12257405
Abstract: An IV catheter system may have a catheter component with a catheter hub, a cannula extending distally from the catheter hub, and a push feature protruding outwardly from the catheter hub. The IV catheter system may also have a needle component with a needle hub, a needle extending distally from the needle hub along an axis, and a grip extending from the needle hub, generally parallel to the axis, with a pull feature. In the insertion configuration, the needle may be positioned within the cannula and the distal end of the needle hub may be seated in a needle port of the catheter hub. In the fluid delivery configuration, the needle may be positioned outside the catheter hub. The push and pull features may be positioned to facilitate manipulation with a single hand to move the IV catheter system from an insertion configuration to a fluid delivery configuration.

  • Patent number: 11646989
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments provide techniques for promoting and providing subscribed content via a messaging platform. An article may be viewed via a social networking service (such as in a social network's news feed), or on a partner website integrated with the social networking service and/or messaging service. When opening the article (e.g., in a web-based view), a banner may be displayed in association with the article indicating that the article could have been received as part of a messaging-based subscription service. The banner may include a control to subscribe to the publisher with the messaging service. Topics related to an article may be suggested in the message thread for the subscription, with the selection of a topic retrieving additional articles from that publisher related to that topic. These additional articles may be selected using social networking topic determination.
