    Abstract: According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a display device includes: a substrate on which a plurality of sub-pixels is defined; a light-emitting element disposed on each of the plurality of sub-pixels and having an inversely tapered shape; a first connection electrode configured to surround a side surface of a lower portion of the light-emitting element; a second connection electrode configured to cover an upper portion of the light-emitting element; and a first planarization layer disposed between the first connection electrode and the second connection electrode. Therefore, the first connection electrode, which surrounds a lower portion of the light-emitting element, may be formed to be spaced apart from an upper portion of the light-emitting element by using the light-emitting element having an inversely tapered shape.
