  • Patent number: 10331886
Abstract: A toggle key blocking method for data security and an apparatus using the same. The toggle key blocking method for data security includes monitoring use of a toggle key on a host with which a keyboard is used, when use of a toggle key on the host is detected, generating details of occurrence of a toggle key event based on a time at which the toggle key event occurred; and blocking use of the toggle key on the host if the host satisfies a toggle key blocking condition based on the details of occurrence of the toggle key event.

  • Patent number: 10255426
Abstract: A keyboard device and a data communication method using the keyboard device. The data communication method includes generating, by the keyboard device, data that is a set of commands to be executed by a computer using a key input signal that is generated when a key is input, transmitting, by the keyboard device, the generated data to the computer, thus allowing the computer to execute each command corresponding to the data, and receiving, by the keyboard device, results of executing the command corresponding to the data from the computer, wherein the command includes a line coding method to be used when the computer transmits data to the keyboard device, and wherein the computer generates a toggle key signal to correspond to the line coding method and transmits the toggle key signal to the keyboard device.

  • Publication number: 20090138723
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of providing a completely automated public turing test to tell a computer and a human apart (CAPTCHA) based on image. The method comprises the steps of: storing a plurality of randomly-selected images by session when a request for a web page is received from a user client; providing the web page and a session ID to the user client; generating a test image by mixing the plurality of images when a request for a test image corresponding to the session ID is received from the user client; transmitting the generated test image to the user client; receiving at least one of first identification information inputted by the user about the test image from the user client; and comparing the first identification information with second identification information included in Meta information of the test image.

  • Publication number: 20090094372
Abstract: The present invention provides a secure user session managing method and system between a client and a server connected through network in web environment. The user session managing method includes: allowing the server to receive a first HTTP request including a cookie from the client, wherein the cookie includes a client authentication value and the client authentication value is calculated by using a shared key stored in the client and session information included in a HTTP response transmitted right before to the client; comparing a server authentication value with the client authentication value included in the cookie, wherein the server authentication value is calculated by employing the session information and the shared key stored in the server; and determining a transmitter's authentication failure or success of the client according to the result of the comparison. User session can be secured by applying the challenge-response authentication algorithm to the HTTP protocol.
