    Abstract: An apparatus is provided that checks for short circuits. The apparatus includes a support plate supporting the bottom surface of a center area of an electrode assembly, a pressurization unit that includes a first pressurization member pressurizing a top surface of the center area of the electrode assembly and a second pressurization member pressurizing opposite edge areas of the electrode assembly and a short circuit measurement unit applying voltage to the electrode assembly to check for a short circuit. The pressurization unit is configured to partially pressurize the entire upper and lower surfaces of the electrode assembly per an area.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a transmembrane domain derived from human LRRC24 protein. More specifically, the present invention relates to a transmembrane domain derived from the human LRRC24 protein (LRRC24P transmembrane domain) or a cell-penetrating peptide, and an intracellular delivery system comprising same. The transmembrane domain derived from the human LRRC24 protein of the present invention can be used to deliver cargo materials such as compounds, biomolecules, and various polymer materials into cells. Since the LRRC24P transmembrane domain of the present invention exhibits higher cell penetration efficiency compared to conventional cell-penetrating peptides and is derived from human proteins, thus avoiding side effects and immune responses caused by peptides derived from foreign proteins, it can be usefully used as an effective intracellular delivery method for compounds, biomolecules, and various polymer materials applied to the human body.

The method for removing noise from a track cross signal includes (a) removing noise from the track cross signal by binarizing the track cross signal with reference to hysteresis set values that are determined according to a command speed for a tracking actuator; and (b) removing glitch noise from the binarized track cross signal based on a predetermined time value. Accordingly, it is possible to effective remove noise to obtain information regarding the precise speed and position of a desired track.

    Abstract: A parallel adder of the present invention operates at high speed and is reduced in size. The parallel adder outputs a carry signal from an inverter and a NAND-gate/NOR-gate to more rapidly generate the carry signal and selects a pass transistor after being passed through the NAND-gate/NOR-gate to reduce a layout surface. The parallel adder includes first and second full adders, each having a logic combination unit, a buffer, a carry output unit, an output controller unit and a sum output unit. The logic combination unit performs logical operations between input signals to generate a first control signal. The buffer inverts a carry input signal in accordance with the control of the logic combination unit, and the carry output unit generates a carry signal in accordance with the control of the logic combination unit to output the output signal from the buffer as a carry signal. The output controller logically combines the output signal from the logic combination unit and generates a second control signal.
