  • Publication number: 20150108070
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of preparing hyperbranched polyamidoamine particles, including: a) preparing a polyamidoamine precursor mixture from a multifunctional amine monomer and a multifunctional acrylamide monomer; and b) polymerizing the polyamidoamine precursor mixture into cross-linked hyperbranched polyamidoamine particles using reverse phase suspension polymerization. Also, hyperbranched polyamidoamine particles prepared by the method are provided, which can remove heavy metals in an aqueous solution without the need for an ultrafiltration apparatus.
