Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for using derived credentials to enroll a mobile computing device with an enterprise mobile device management system are described herein. In various embodiments, a mobile computing device, responsive to a command to enroll with an enterprise mobile device management server, may launch an enrollment application; send an enrollment request message to the enterprise mobile device management server; switch to a certificate management system application on the mobile computing device; request one or more derived credentials from a certificate management system server; store the one or more derived credentials in a shared vault on the mobile computing device; switch to the enrollment application; retrieve a derived credential of the one or more derived credentials stored in the shared vault; and, provide the derived credential to the enterprise mobile device management server to enroll the mobile computing device with at least one mobile device management service.

Abstract: A system, apparatus, method, and computer-readable media are provided for configuring a power line networking device. According to one method, wireless network settings are converted into equivalent power line network settings compatible with a power line network. The converted settings are then utilized to configure the power line networking device for operation on the power line network. The power line network may be compatible with the HOMEPLUG networking standard by the HOMEPLUG POWER ALLIANCE. The wireless network settings may include a SSID and a wireless network key. The conversion process may be performed by a power line networking device or by a computer in communication with the power line networking device. The conversion and configuration may be performed in response to detecting that the power line networking device has not been configured for operation with the power line network.

Abstract: A method, medium, and system are provided for a generic surface manager which allows graphics surfaces generated according to various existing and/or new graphics protocols to be rendered by a graphics consumer. The generic surface manager functions as an interface between a graphics consumer and one or more applications that generate graphics surfaces. Support is provided for various existing graphics protocols and the generic surface manager can be easily modified to accept surfaces generated according to new graphics protocols. An extensible system is thereby provided that can support a variety of graphics protocols without requiring modifications to be made to the graphics consumer.
