  • Patent number: 10944918
Abstract: A rear-facing camera of an electronic mirror device acquires a rear image of an area to the rear of a vehicle, and a left rear-side facing camera and a right rear-side facing camera acquire rear side-images of areas to the rearward sides of the vehicle. An electronic mirror ECU then creates a normal synthesized image by synthesizing the rear image acquired by the rear-facing camera with the rear side-images acquired by the rear-side facing cameras, and then displays the normal synthesized image on a display unit. Additionally, the electronic mirror ECU creates a blind spot priority synthesized image in which the rear side-image that contains an image area corresponding to the object is superimposed onto the rear image, and switches the image displayed on the display unit to this blind spot priority synthesized image.

  • Patent number: 9797468
Abstract: In liquid, an elastic main body member, a partition member, and a diaphragm are inserted into an outer cylinder one by one, and the diaphragm is held down by a fixing ring and fixed by a claw. Then, the liquid adheres onto outer circumferential surfaces of the partition member and the diaphragm. Therefore, a first special seal for adhered liquid is provided in an elastic partition member of the partition member and also a second special seal for adhered liquid and a third special seal for adhered liquid are provided in the diaphragm, so as to provide a seal between each of the outer circumferential surfaces of the partition member and the diaphragm and the fixing ring, so that the adhered liquid is prevented from leaking outwardly as leaked liquid.

  • Patent number: 9664246
Abstract: An elastic main body member, a partition member, a diaphragm and a fixing ring are piled up in an outer cylinder of long cylindrical shape that surrounds the whole outside of the elastic main body member, and combined together by fixing the fixing ring by claws of the outer cylinder. An elastic main body member drain recess, a partition member first drain recess and a fixing ring drain recess are formed in each of outer circumferential portions of the elastic main body member, the partition member and the fixing ring and, when assembling, aligned continuously with each other, so that a water drain passage is formed inside the outer cylinder.

  • Patent number: 5880376
Abstract: An electromagnetic flowmeter generates a magnetic filed perpendicular to a ring earth electrode contacting fluid at an end portion of a measuring tube and a point electrode attached to a lower portion of the measuring tube so as to measure a flow rate without depending on a fluid level. The electromagnetic flowmeter comprises magnetic field generation means for generating the magnetic field in the measuring tube to be perpendicular to an axial direction of the measuring tube such that electromotive force generated in fluid is not influenced by the fluid level, flow rate output means for calculating a flow rate of fluid flowing in the measuring tube based on a potential developed in the fluid by said magnetic filed generated by the magnetic field generation means so as to output the calculated flow rate, and display means for displaying the flow rate calculated by the flow rate calculation means.

  • Patent number: 5385055
Abstract: An electromagnetic flowmeter comprises a cylindrical support. A pair of coils are positioned at the outer surface of the cylindrical support, spaced approximately 180.degree. apart. The cylindrical support is coaxially mounted within a cylindrical magnetic path, which defines a space for the coils between the magnetic path and the cylindrical support. The magnetic path has two ends, each engaged by a flange. The flanges include bosses, which together with the cylindrical support and magnetic path serve to position the coils. A conduit is mounted within the support, and a housing encloses the support, the coils, and the conduit. The length of the housing is greater than the length of the conduit, defining a gap between the housing and the conduit.

  • Patent number: 5282447
Abstract: A device for stopping a diesel engine can properly control an engine stopping operation even if an engine rotation signal is not transmitted due to disconnection of a signal line at the time of the engine stopping operation and can prevent an engine stopping actuator from being burnt even if the engine does not stop due to mechanical trouble in a stopping mechanism. A contact 1a of a key switch 1 is turned from an ON terminal to an OFF terminal, whereby a transistor TR3 of a engine stopping operation section 8 us turned off. A transistor TR4 is turned on by a discharge of a capacitor C4, and a transistor TR5 and a relay switch 10 to follow are turned on to actuate a solenoid 11 to shut off fuel supply through a stopping mechanism.

  • Patent number: 5057813
Abstract: An oil level sensor has a cylindrical hollow sensor body and an elongated inner electrode provided in the sensor body at a distance from the inner wall of the sensor body. The sensor body is made of conductive resin including carbon particles. The sensor body is electrically connected to the elongated inner electrode and to a control unit for indicating a shortage of the fluid. The control unit is a shielded wire comprising a lead wire connected with the elongated inner electrode and a wire shield connected with the cylindrical hollow sensor body. The elongated inner electrode has a flange at a base portion thereof so as to be firmly secured in the inner electrode guide and an insulator sleeve plugged into the cylindrical hollow sensor body, whereby the flange is held between the inner electrode guide and the insulator sleeve.

  • Patent number: 4825703
Abstract: An electromagnetic flow meter interposable between ends of upstream and downstream pipes. The flow meter comprises a measuring pipe of nonmagnetic material for fluid flow therethrough; two magnetic flux generating units facing toward and forming gaps with the outer surface of the measuring pipe; and two casing units of magnetic material enclosing the magnetic flux generating units and the measuring pipe, with the magnetic flux generating units being adjustably secured to the casing units. One of the casing units or the measuring pipe has projections which make the axes of the casing units and the measuring pipe coincide.

  • Patent number: 4679442
Abstract: An electromagnetic flow meter comprises a detector body interposable between the flanged ends of upstream and downstream pipes conveying a fluid whose flow rate is to be measured and an outer casing. The detector body includes a measuring pipe made of a non-magnetic material and a pair of electrodes positioned on an imaginary straight line orthogonal to the axis of the measuring pipe and contacting the fluid to be measured. The detector body also includes a pair magnetic flux generating units having magnet cores with coils wound thereon. The axis of the magnet cores are positioned on an imaginary straight line that intersects, at right angles, both the imaginary line connecting the electrodes and the axis of the measuring pipe at a single point of intersection. The magnetic flux generating units generate magnetic field lines orthogonal to the imaginary line connecting the electrodes and the axis of the measuring pipe.
