  • Patent number: 7791637
Abstract: Disclosed is a data transmission system to transmit digital data through a wireless transmission path, including: a first device including a communication condition detecting section, a data supplying section, a bit-rate converting section, a transmission buffer, a transmission communicating section and a channel switching section; and a second device including a reception communicating section, a reception buffer and a buffer storage amount detecting section, wherein the communication condition detecting section comprises a jamming detecting section, and when the jamming detecting section detects jamming, the bit-rate converting section lowers bit rate of the digital data to predetermined bit rate, and the channel switching section switches the communication channel to a channel where influence of the jamming is less, based on detection results by the buffer storage amount detecting section.

  • Patent number: 7773852
Abstract: A video processing apparatus retrieves highlight data from video data of DVD video standards and analyzes its highlight data and acquires a display position of a highlight on a display screen. Further, the video processing apparatus analyzes predetermined on screen display data and acquires a display position of on screen display on the display screen. Then, the video processing apparatus displays the on screen display on the display screen so as not to overlap with menu items of a main menu screen on which the highlight is overlaid by controlling the display position of the on screen display so as to differ from the display position of the highlight.

  • Publication number: 20050254785
Abstract: When a skip mode is initiated, a back end MCU employs a fast forward function to perform fast forward reproduction for a period of twenty-four seconds, for example, that is shorter than a skipping period of thirty seconds, for example, and thereafter, a time search function searches for a reproduced image at a location thirty seconds ahead. Thereafter, the skip mode is shifted to the normal reproduction mode.
