    Abstract: A method, a system and an apparatus for obtaining an address of a video transmission management server are disclosed. The method includes: sending a request for obtaining location information of the video transmission management server to a host parameter configuration server, where the video transmission management server is an ARQ server, a FCC server or a FEC server, or any combination thereof, and the host parameter configuration server is a DHCP server or a PPP server; and receiving a response returned by the host parameter configuration server, and obtaining the location information of the video transmission management server. In this way, the interaction procedure is simplified and the user experience is improved.
