    Abstract: A power storage device includes a current collecting terminal, a case member having a terminal insertion hole, and an insulating resin member connecting the current collecting terminal with a hole periphery and a hole surrounding portion of the terminal insertion hole. The current collecting terminal and the case member have seal portions that ensure airtightness in a case, at connecting portions connecting with the insulating resin member, and each of the seal portions is a roughened surface. The insulating resin member has a thermoplastic resin material including high molecular weight particles with a molecular weight of 10,000 or more and low molecular weight particles with a molecular weight of 500 to 5,000, and the low molecular weight particles are included 5 to 15% by weight in the thermoplastic resin material and are unevenly distributed closer to the roughened surface.

    Abstract: The invention provides a heat recovery method for use in sulfuric acid production plants by which the heat generated in the step of drying SO2 gas or the step of drying air, and the step of absorbing sulfur trioxide in the plant is effectively utilized for heating the water to be supplied to a boiler although the heat is conventionally discarded because of the difficulties encountered in using the heat effectively. The boiler water to be supplied is heated by utilizing the heat generated by drying and/or absorption in a drying tower of the plant for drying sulfur burning air or the sulfur dioxide and/or in an absorption tower of the plant for causing circulating concentrated sulfuric acid to absorb sulfur trioxide produced by the conversion of the sulfur dioxide.

To this end, using a hob 16 coated with at least one layer of a film of a composition comprising:(Ti.sub.(1-x) Al.sub.x)(N.sub.y C.sub.(1-y))0.2.ltoreq.x.ltoreq.0.850.25.ltoreq.y.ltoreq.1.0,dry cutting is performed at a cutting speed in the range of 80 to 400 m/min without using a cutting oil. Teeth can be generated at a greatly improved cutting speed without using any expensive tool such as a tool made of cemented carbide.

    Abstract: An apparatus induces vibrations in a generator for effectively reducing vibrations of a vehicle engine and the vehicle body due to irregular combustion of the engine. The load torque of a generator fixed to the engine is changed to generate an angle moment on the body of the generator to cancel engine vibrations due to rough idling and suppress body vibrations due to the rough idling. Irregular combustion of the engine is detected from a change in the engine speed, and a voltage higher than the output voltage of the generator is than applied across the field winding to increase the field winding current and hence the load torque on the generator, which induces vibrations on the generator body. When the generator vibrations and vibrations due to irregular combustion are in inverse phase relationship to each other, they are cancelled.
