  • Publication number: 20110257582
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to safely discard the electrode plate having pin holder-shaped projections of a medicated sheet by incineration. An electrode plate with pin holder-shaped projections is made from a conductive resin in which carbon black serving as a conductive substance is mixed to a thermoplastic resin, so that the electrode plate including the pin holder-shaped projections can be safely discarded by incineration.

  • Publication number: 20090062722
Abstract: A drug sheet includes a base fabric carrying a therapeutic agent containing an electrolytic drug component and applied to or impregnated into a skin-abutting surface of the base fabric. Small needle members carrying small needle-shaped protrusions are scattered on the skin-abutting surface so that the needle-shaped protrusions protrude from the skin-abutting surface. The needle members include a first group of needle members made of aluminum and provided on a first area of the skin-abutting surface, and a second group of needle members made of silver and provided on a second area of the skin-abutting surface. Due to a difference in standard electrode potential between the first and second groups of needle members, electric current flows between the first and second groups of needle members through skin when the needle-shaped protrusions are stuck in the skin. This improves the absorption rate of the drug component.

  • Patent number: 4120496
Abstract: A golf cup with a sound producing device therein mounted on a projection projecting upwardly from the bottom of the golf cup and with a hollow center forming a flagstick base receiving hole. The top of the circuit box for the device is a metal contact with an annular sponge thereon having a plurality of apertures therein extending through the thickness of the sponge. A metal contact plate is positioned on the top surface of the sponge and has a plurality of projections on the under side of the contact plate projecting into the apertures in the sponge and having the free ends spaced from the top when the sponge is in the uncompressed condition and contacting the top when said sponge is compressed when struck by a golf ball falling into the cup. A sound producing circuit within said circuit box has the top and the contact plate coupled therein as an actuating switch. A twittering or chirping sound is produced by the sound producing device to harmonize with the natural atmosphere of a golf course.
