  • Patent number: 8783162
Abstract: A hydraulic driven turning device to be installed to a construction machine has a first body and a second body turning in relation to the first body, and a hydraulic cylinder attached from the first and second bodies to another body. A piston is axially movable via a hydraulic pressure medium, and a spiral part is attached to the piston. The spiral part causes a rotational movement to a counter part equipped with a spiral, whereupon the rotational movement can be transferred to be a turning movement of another body. The piston is arranged to be non-rotating in the cylinder by forming the cross section of the piston and the cylinder to be deviant from a round form, such as having an oval or angular shape, or by adjusting the piston to be eccentric in relation to a bearing axis thereof.

  • Publication number: 20110030550
Abstract: Hydraulic driven turning device to be installed to a construction machine, like at the end of the boom of the power shovel whereupon a first body (1) and a second body (6) turning in relation to it belong to the turning device and a hydraulic cylinder attached from the mentioned bodies (1), (6) to another body belongs to the device in which cylinder the piston (5) can be moved axially back and forth with the help of a hydraulic pressure medium and a spiral part (2) is attached to the piston (5) which spiral part causes a rotation movement to its counter part (3) equipped with a spiral whereupon the mentioned rotation movement can be transferred to be a turning movement of another body. The piston (5) is arranged to be non rotating in the cylinder located in the body (1) by forming the cross section of the piston (5) and the cylinder to be deviant from a round form, like to be an oval or angular or by adjusting the piston (13) to be eccentric in relation to its bearing axle (2).

  • Publication number: 20060115334
Abstract: A method and system for protecting an object to be protected against vibration induced by traffic and transmitted from a roadway (2) via the ground. The object to be protected (1), such as a building, is protected against the vibration induced by traffic and transmitted from a roadway (2) via the ground using an insulator wall (3), which has been driven into the ground at a distance from the roadway substantially in parallel with the roadway between the roadway and the object to be protected to damp vibration. The insulator wall (3) has been installed with respect to the vertical direction at an inclined angle (?) so that the insulator wall is slanting downward at the aforesaid angle (?) and away from the roadway (1) to direct the vibration obliquely downward, the insulator wall (3) both damping and directing the vibration into the direction determined by the insulator wall.
