In response to receiving text data or voice data from the external device through the communication module, a response is obtained to the text data or the voice data based on a characteristic of a user utterance stored in memory. A determination is made whether a confirmation of a user is necessary for a response based on information included in at least one of the the text data or the voice data, information included in the response, or information regarding an utterance history of the user stored in the memory. Based on a determination that the user's confirmation is necessary, a notification is provided including an object to approve content of the received text data or voice data.
